Shane "Sugar" Mosley is a retired American professional boxer renowned for his speed, power, and technical skill. Competing from 1993 to 2016, he held multiple world championships across three weight divisions: lightweight, welterweight, and light middleweight. Mosley gained prominence with a victory over Oscar De La Hoya in 2000 and faced other notable opponents such as Floyd Mayweather Jr., Manny Pacquiao, and Canelo Álvarez. He was named Fighter of the Year by the Boxing Writers Association of America in 1998 and was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2020.
